The Kitchen Restaurant Denver

Visiting family in Colorado. Had a fabulous experience at the Kitchen. Excellent food, try the trout. Exceptional service our waiter was friendly, and attentive. The restaurant is very open, calm modern decor and has many windows. outdoor seating is available on the patio. We will certainly return to the Kitchen on our next trip to Denver.

OpenTable Diner (New York Area)·Dined on May 14, 2017We are in for a conference from New York and happy to try different Denver Restaurants. We were very happy with our dinner at Kitchen. We had Fava Bean/Pea Bruschetta that was delicious. I had Capellini with Artichokes and it was perfect, very good. My husband had a pasta with Bolognese sauce that was good, but he was not happy with the temperature, he said it wasn't hot enough. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Also, I had not been able to find a place to have Mothers Day Brunch so I spoke with hostess and she was able to fit us in so we came back the following day for a great Brunch! All in all a really nice place with very nice people. Was this review useful to you?Yes·No·Report

vipOpenTable Diner (Denver)·Dined on May 11, 2017I've eaten at The Kitchen about a dozen times and love it – food, service, ambiance, etc. this time was a little different: My salad was just so-so, very simple and nothing to rave about and a bit on the small side for a main course for lunch. Re the service, our waitress was at first very attentive but we had to ask for a drink (club soda or soft drink, not something that had to be muddled from the bar) twice and it took about 10 min for it to arrive. The second service issue came up when we needed our bill and to pay. It took about 15 minutes. Was this review useful to you?Yes·No·Reportfood3ambience4service4value3

Kudostuchef (Denver)·Dined on May 6, 2017Initially disappointed that they put us in a back room as the birthday guy had a tshirt on. We had an excellent wait staff and delicious food. It was also quieter so we could enjoy the conversation. A lovely dessert was complimentary and a great surprise. Overall a fabulous evening.Tags: Local Ingredients, Healthy, Handcrafted Cocktails, Seasonal, Good for Birthdays, Authentic, Fit for Foodies, Great BeerWas this review useful to you?Yes·No·Reportfood5ambience3service5value3

Next Door is an American eatery serving real food sourced from American farmers located in the south wing of Denver’s Union Station. Next Door is pioneering Urban Casual — a new approach to dining out that is faster, more fun and affordable to the average American.  The menu features a variety of shared plates (our Kale Chips are famous), fresh salads, sandwiches, burgers (don’t miss the Beet Burger!) and bowls. Next Door offers kegged wine, beer and cocktails.

Terrific location, convenient to downtown, Coors Field, and theatre. I had the butcher's choice (flank steak) cooked perfectly and beautifully seasoned. My companions had the vegetable hash , which was pronounced bland, and the pasta, which was “good”.They had a local folk singer the evening we were there, and people were moving outside because the music was so loud they couldn't hear each other. Small interior space, so probably doesn't need a huge amplifier. We'll give it another try the next time we're in Denver.
